I made this meditation for my clients as they are entering 37-38 weeks in their pregnancy. This meditation and mudra practice can help to reactivate Apana Vayu, which in yoga and ayurveda, is the subtle movement of energy downward, from navel through the pelvis. In this practice we use Prandihana Mudra, which is the gesture of surrender and for learning to let go.
Please use caution in holding this mudra if you are early on in your pregnancy or if you have low blood pressure. This meditation and mudra are adapted from Mudras for Transformation and Healing by Joseph and Lilian Le Page.
